- An influencer who sold a video of herself naked as a young child on OnlyFans apologized and claimed she is “detached from reality” and didn’t intend for the video to be sexual.
- Gabi DeMartino is a 25-year-old YouTube vlogger with nearly 10 million subscribers on the joint channel she shares with her twin sister.
- OnlyFans said it removed her account after it violated the platforms’ terms of services. Critics accused DeMartino of selling child pornography.
The influencer whose OnlyFans was removed after she sold her own underage nudity for $3 is back with an apology. 25-year-old Gabi DeMartino told her 3 million vlog subscribers that she is “detached from reality” and didn’t realize the footage of her 3-year-old self naked would be perceived as sexual.
On Tuesday, the 25-year-old shared a 35-second video with her OnlyFans subscribers — which cost $3 to unlock — along with the message, ‘won’t put my panties on.’
Some fans who paid for the clip were horrified to discover that it was not a recent sexy upload, but a nude clip of her as a little girl of about three years old — which her words appear to have sexualized into child pornography.

Inappropriate: She wrote, ‘won’t put my panties on’ about the video — which showed her at about age three
Gabi — who has 3.24 million YouTube subscribers, 4.4. million Instagram followers, and 1.2 million Twitter followers — is getting quite a bit of backlash for the poorly-thought-out post.
What’s more, it quickly led OnlyFans to deactivate Gabi’s account.
A spokesperson for the platform told the Daily Beast: ‘I can confirm that the account in question was deactivated in violation of OnlyFans’ Terms of Service.’
But even though the clip — and Gabi’s bizarre comment — were only up for a limited time, they still earned quite a bit of criticism.
Fellow YouTuber Petty Paige posted an entire livestream titled ‘gabi demartino must be STOPPED!!!’ in which she blasted Gabi for making an ‘absolute f***ing mess.’
‘What she’s done is bad. Very, very, very very bad,’ she said. ‘I don’t even know what would have been going through her mind.’
Disturbing: Gabi is getting quite a bit of backlash for the poorly-thought-out post, with many accusing her of promoting child pornography
Called out: Dozens called her actions ‘disgusting,’ ‘disturbing,’ and ‘gross,’ demanding, ‘What was she thinking?’
Spill Sesh, another YouTuber, also called her out.
On Twitter, more criticism and horrified reactions have poured in, with users accusing her of tricking fans into purchasing child pornography.
‘Soooo Gabi Demartino is selling child p*rn on her only fans?!? The f***???? She sent out a video fans could buy for $3 of her as a child pulling up her dress with a sexual caption?!?’ wrote one.
‘There are victims of child ab*se and p*rn out there who are fighting for their photos & videos to be removed from the Internet and Gabi Demartino is sexualizing one of herself as a toddler and uploading it herself for money,’ said another.
Dozens called her actions ‘disgusting,’ ‘disturbing,’ and ‘gross,’ demanding, ‘What was she thinking?’
‘Sis posted CP on her onlyfans!!!!! That’s illegal!’ another wrote.
Several have said that they reported Gabi’s post to the authorities, including adult entertainer Iana Evans, who told the Daily Beast that she contacted the FBI.
‘I have a circle of people who call me when there are 911s, and this was a 911,’ she said. ‘There’s no excuse for that. Apparently, the way she advertised it on her OnlyFans page was that she would get naked, and this is someone who doesn’t get naked. And then people clicked on it and it’s a video of her as a three-year-old child not putting her panties back on?
‘It’s women like her that do this that make people turn to those of us in the adult industry who would never do something like this, and we take the blame for it. It’s shocking. Just shocking,’ she said.
As the backlash has exploded, Gabi took to Twitter to address the controversy — though her response has left many feeling unsatisfied.
‘[It was] a childhood video of me on the phone sayin “Nani says put your panties back on” and jumping up and down laughing,’ she tweeted.
No big deal, guys! She apologized but tried to play it off as a silly mistake
Responsibility: The apology came after she claimed that she was ‘trolling’
‘I’m sorry I didn’t think that one through. period. a home-video I love to share w my friends & I use my [OnlyFans] as a “finsta” page where I share stuff as I would w friends.
‘The video was a goofy throwback family moment that I wanted to share with my personal OnlyFans fancy babies,’ she went on.
‘I am sorry that this wasn’t thought out completely I apologize. The video is down now I am sorry again if this came out wrong.’
Critics are not impressed.
‘This is the dumbest excuse I’ve ever heard. You knew what and why u we’re doing when u posted it on OF which is known for sex workers. Absolutely disgusting and you’re enabling pedophelia,’ wrote one.
‘Gabi DeMartino knew what she was doing,’ said another. ‘She was 100% trying to sell CP of herself on her onlyfans. Got caught, and tried to play it off as ”just goofy old home videos’.’ Even though there are screenshots that contradict the context of this claim.’
The social media star is known to have posted partially nude photos of herself on her OnlyFans account in the past.
Lines: ‘Ariana says, “Honest to God, knock me out,” so I decided to punch myself in the face. It was awesome,’ Gabi proclaims in the video
Gabi may be known to some as an Ariana Grande lookalike. In 2018, Ariana even included her in her ‘Thank U, Next’ music video.
She also has an identical twin, fellow YouTuber Niki DeMartino — though the two no longer look identical, since Gabi has had quite a few cosmetic procedures since turning 18, including lip fillers, porcelain veneers, and a non-surgical nose job.
In 2018, Niki asked Gabi to explain why she had so much work done.
‘When we were little I couldn’t even tell which was you and which was me,’ Niki told her. ‘It was impossible to tell us apart. And now we’re known as the opposite twins.
Gabi recounted that when she turned 18, she thought: ‘Yes! I finally get to change a face that I hate so much!’ and immediately started working on her transformation.
One self-identified former fan of DeMartino wrote, “I’ve ran a fan account for you for 4 years. i bought your merch and perfume. but this has gone too far. you’ve made mistakes in the past and i move past on but i cant support you anymore. you think that this is an innocent joke.”
DeMartino is known for her joint YouTube channel with her twin sister, which has nearly 10 million subscribers. She’s also known for her resemblance to singer Ariana Grande and appeared in the music video for “Thank U, Next.” In her YouTube apology, DeMartino said she would “grow and learn from this.”
“Never in a million years did I think that something I thought was so innocent could be looked at in such an ugly way and I think that’s where the problem lies,” DeMartino said in the video. “I realized I’m so detached from reality that it didn’t even cross my mind that this could be viewed like this.”
Earlier this week, DeMartino told Insider that the outrage caused by her OnlyFans post was “drama channels […] reaching,” referencing YouTube channels devoted to internet gossip that DeMartino painted as exaggerating the truth, but backlash only grew as more information from her OnlyFans account was leaked.
The video in question was advertised to DeMartino’s OnlyFans subscribers behind a paywall, so unsuspecting buyers were unaware the footage depicted a toddler. She captioned it “wont put my panties on” and also posted a lewd image of herself as an adult with the caption “sent a little surprise in your inboxes for those who are CuRiOuS.”
The “surprise” was a 35-second clip of 3-year-old DeMartino lifting her dress to reveal her naked body underneath. Child-pornography laws in Pennsylvania, where DeMartino lives, prohibit filming a child engaged in a “sexual act.” Federal guidance says that “a picture of a naked child may constitute illegal child pornography if it is sufficiently sexually suggestive.” Some Twitter users say they reported DeMartino to local authorities and the FBI.
“It’s a video that has brought back laughter and joy within my family for years and I shared it with what I thought was a funny caption. It’s not funny. It was a quote from the video,” DeMartino said in her apology.
DeMartino also claimed to Insider in text messages that her OnlyFans “was NOT a sexual page,” although her previous posts were sexual in nature, including a video of DeMartino twerking and a photo of her “nip slip.”
OnlyFans is a popular subscription site for sex workers that allows creators to monetize content and sell it directly to their fans. Influencers and celebrities have increasingly used it to showcase risqué content and behind-the-scenes footage. DeMartino told Insider she removed her page herself after receiving backlash.
In a statement to Insider, OnlyFans suggested it had a role in the removal of DeMartino’s page. “The account in question is deactivated for violation of OnlyFans’ Terms of Service,” it said.
“I know who I am in my heart and if you know me you know that I would never condone anything like this,” DeMartino said in her apology. “I would never do anything to exploit or harm a child. I’m so sorry.”
