Legendary American singer Dionne Warwick has got game. Twitter game, that is.
If the 79-year-old’s recent tweets are anything to go by, she just might dethrone reigning Twitter queen, Chrissy Teigen.
In a series of tweets, Warwick — who is the cousin of the late Whitney Houston — directly and hilariously questioned rappers about their stage names while also sending her love to others.
According to her Twitter bio, Warwick has been on the platform since 2012, but it appears she has yet to learn all the features of the site.
“How do send a tweet to @SnoopDogg? Did I do this correctly?” she messaged.
Warwick then asked the Twittersphere if she needed to follow the same steps to message Swift.
“Okay, what about Taylor Swift? I want to tell her I hope that she’s having a good day and keeping her head high.”

After getting the hang of it, the music icon tweeted, “Hi @taylorswift13. I hope you’re in good spirits and having a wonderful day. Keep your head high!”
The message clearly went through because 30-year-old Swift replied.
“I just saw that you tweeted me!! I’m a huge fan and I respect you so much, thank you for wishing me well,” she responded. “I hope you have a wonderful holiday season, thank you for spreading joy.”

Now knowing how to ‘@’ and gaining more confidence in her tweeting abilities, Warwick then began to ask the important questions: like where Chance The Rapper got his stage name from.
“Hi, @chancetherapper. If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this,” Warwick mused, playfully adding, “I am now Dionne the Singer.”
The tweet took Chance — whose real name is Chancelor Bennett — by surprise.
For starters, the 27-year-old didn’t know Warwick was a fan of his and Justin Bieber‘s new song ‘Holy’, let alone know who he was.
“Sorry I’m still freaking out that u know who I am. This is amazing!” Chance tweeted to which Warwick replied, “Of course I know you. You’re THE rapper. Let’s rap together. I’ll message you.”
“I will be whatever you wanna call me Ms Warwick. God bless you,” Chance wrote in a follow-up message.

Chance’s moniker wasn’t the only one Warwick had been pondering. She was also evidently racking her brain over The Weeknd‘s stage name.
“If you have ‘The’ in your name i’m coming for you. I need answers today,” she tweeted. “The Weeknd is next. Why? It’s not even spelled correctly?”
Like Chance, The Weeknd — whose real name is Abel Tesfaye — was stoked to even be on Warwick’s radar.
“I just got roasted by Dionne Warwick and I feel honored!” the 30-year-old Canadian singer tweeted, adding, “You just made my day.”
