Someone Sent $30,000 Worth of Weed to the Wrong Address

While we would never recommend mailing someone cannabis since that’s illegal, we’ll give you one piece of advice that someone in Indiana did not follow: Don’t send it to the wrong address.

A man living in Columbus, Indiana had a package delivered to his house this week. However, the man was not expecting any packages. but he decided to open it up anyways. Inside he found 10 pounds of marijuana, worth around $30,000.

The man contacted the police right away and they seized the package. They then made some pretty lame posts on social media asking for the person who sent the marijuana to come pick it up at the station.

They made an even lamer Facebook post where they talked about the package being an early Christmas present and doing a whole stupid fake story about the guy thinking Santa had come early.

Believe it or not, this isn’t even the first time a marijuana package was inadvertently delivered in Columbus. And it’s not even the SECOND time either. In January a package of cannabis was sent to the wrong house in the town, and it happened again this May. The package in May contained $14,000 worth of liquid THC.

So far no one has come forward to claim the mistakenly sent packages.
